Client

Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications (DITRDC) are committed to fund various grants to the Regional Recovery Partnerships Program across Australia. The Department required 15 AGSVA cleared Grants Officers to assist with the assessment of grants, for an initial period of 3 to 6 months.

Brief

Calleo were engaged to provide approximately 15 resources to support DITRDC with grants assessment and BAU support for the Department’s newly relocated regional branch in New South Wales. The Department provided a brief of the duties, including application assessment, contract negotiation and contract management, as well as the essential skills and experience required. Before onboarding, all personnel were required to hold a minimum Baseline AGSVA security clearance. Contractors were required to commence as soon as possible.

Solution

Calleo’s PSS team worked together to identify the requirements and develop a candidate tracking, screening and application process. A Managing Consultant was nominated as a primary point of contact for the client, ensuring consistent communication was maintained between key stakeholders.

Our approach

The Calleo team take great pride in delivering client focused, personal, and bespoke solutions to meet our client’s needs. Calleo arranged pre-engagement meetings with key stakeholders from varying divisions to form a holistic view of the requirements. Through co-designing a consistent, comparable assessment process Calleo presented shortlists to pre-agreed timelines to expedite onboarding process, including undertaking AGSVA processes. The PSS Team conducted remote interviews with suitable candidates, briefing them on the Department’s process and timelines. References were completed and working rights were verified.
