Within a large Federal Government agency, you will lead the design, build and sustainment of large‑scale Linux, Kubernetes and cloud‑enabled infrastructure services. Working closely with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, you will guide integration activities, uplift automation and ensure secure, stable and scalable environments across multiple sites.
Duties
- Lead design, engineering and maintenance of Linux and Kubernetes systems
- Build IaC services to deploy and secure virtual and physical hosts
- Package and manage containerised apps within Kubernetes platforms
- Assess requirements and guide delivery of new system capabilities
- Identify dependencies and coordinate integrated technical solutions
- Strong Linux (RHEL 7+) and Kubernetes engineering and security experience
- Proficiency with CI/CD, incl. Ansible playbooks, roles and workflows
- Experience with data platform deployment or management
- Strong stakeholder and team‑leadership capability
- Excellent documentation and organisational skills
- Very high AGSVA security clearance is mandatory
- Long‑term contract stability
