Our client is seeking multiple Senior Organisational Change Managers (OCM) to lead and deliver change management activities across a portfolio of projects within its Digital Capability & Operations Branch.
These senior roles require candidates who can provide strategic, high‑quality change advice while also driving hands‑on change execution to ensure strong adoption, business readiness and realisation of benefits.
Working closely with senior executives, program and project managers, IT teams and business units, the OCMs will shape and implement change frameworks, strategies and integrated plans that align with the Branch and organisational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop change management framework and supporting templates to uplift change maturity for the Branch.
- Provide strategic change advice and coaching to project and program teams to drive adoption, manage resistance, and strengthen stakeholder confidence.
- Partner with the Portfolio Office to design and deliver overarching change strategies, roadmaps and integrated plans that minimise change fatigue.
- Monitor, track and report on change progress and benefits realisation across the Branch.
- Produce change impact assessments, change strategies and detailed change plans to support business adoption for individual projects.
- Engage senior executives and business teams to build a strong change champion network and secure organisation-wide buy‑
Requirements
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience as an Organisational Change Manager.
- Experience in developing and implementing change management frameworks, strategies and plans across portfolios of work.
- Leading and executing change management activities across complex portfolios, programs and projects in the Public Sector.
- Experience in benefits realisation management, including development of benefits artefacts and ongoing benefits management.
- Proven experience in tailoring change management methodologies to meet the complexities of programs and projects, including demonstrated change management certification.
- PROSCI change management certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
