We are seeking a Senior iOS/Android Software Engineer to design and develop high-quality mobile applications that drive impactful outcomes. In this role, you’ll create user-focused solutions, lead technical strategies, and contribute to cutting-edge innovation within a multidisciplinary team.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens with active Federal Government clearances to be found suitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop native iOS (SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Java) applications with a focus on performance and superior user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Develop and integrate backend services using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or similar technologies.
- Champion clean, testable, and maintainable code while mentoring team members on engineering best practices.
- Lead design discussions, iterative prototyping, and development cycles.
- Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and governance standards.
You’ll Bring
- Experience in iOS or Android development, with expertise in modern SDKs, tools, and frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose).
- Proficiency in software development best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and collaborative workflows.
- Strong experience in systems integration, testing, and technical leadership.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their impact on software design and delivery.
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain Baseline clearance).
