The Client
Our client is a statutory agency in the Defence portfolio that defends Australia against global threats and advances our national interests through the provision of foreign intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations as directed by the Australian Government.
Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years' experience as Senior DevOps AWS Engineer specialising in EKS and Kubernetes
- Design, implement and manage AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Provide level 2 and 3 support and go-live operational readiness for new platform builds.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test and deployment processes.
- Use tools like Terraform and CDK for infrastructure orchestration.
- Create and maintain detailed technical design documents.
- Develop and execute test plans.
You will have
- Must have an AGSVA NV1 security clearance
- Strong technical experience and proficiency across cloud security best practice.
- Strong experience with containerisation for Kubernetes, ECS and EKS.
- Deep understanding of AWS Cloud Platform infrastructure and AWS landing zones.
- Experience in transitioning complex infrastructure to AWS, driving innovation through cloud native solutions.

Onsite, working arrangements will be at the discretion of the assigned work area, subject to operational need. Due to the nature of our clients operations, not all work areas can accommodate work from home.
