This is a hands‑on senior role will be suited to someone who enjoys working closely with policy, content and ICT stakeholders on time‑critical initiatives, while also contributing to longer‑term platform strategy.
The Role You will play a lead role in a major content migration and publication program, while also conducting a platform health assessment and advising on future technical direction.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinating the upload of a number of policy and guidance pages into Drupal
- Ensuring correct formatting, tagging, metadata and publishing standards
- Working with content owners to validate information prior to publication
- Tracking progress and providing regular status updates
- Conducting a comprehensive platform health assessment (security, performance, accessibility and versions)
- Identifying technical debt and defining a prioritised remediation roadmap
- Implementing approved improvements and producing clear recommendations
- Providing input into future platform architecture and integration options
- Advising on alignment or integration with other enterprise web platforms
- Preparing technical documentation, options papers and contribution to business cases
- Managing and resolving Drupal platform support tickets
- Supporting users to improve content management practices, including running information or training session.
- Strong Drupal development, configuration and administration experience (site building)
- Web development skills within a Drupal environment
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale content uploads or migrations
- Designing and executing content audits at scale
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and content best practice
- Information architecture, taxonomy and metadata design experience
- Platform health assessment and remediation planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on Drupal experience
- Ability to clearly articulate Drupal versions used, modules developed and recent delivery outcomes
- AGSVA Security clearance of Baseline (or higher)
- Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days in the office)

- 12 month contract with 12 month extension option
