We’re seeking a skilled Safety Specialist to support a Federal Government delivery program aimed at ensuring safety and operational assurance for Australia’s aviation infrastructure. You’ll deliver safety impact assessments, develop safety case inputs, and embed safety considerations into project planning and delivery.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens with Federal Government clearances to be found suitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct safety impact assessments and develop safety case inputs (hazard/control summaries, readiness considerations).
- Ensure safety risks are identified, mitigated, and integrated into decision-making.
- Collaborate with project teams and vendors to meet reliability and safety standards.
Candidates with the skills and experiences are encouraged to apply
- Experience in aviation safety engineering (e.g., CASR 171, 172, 175) or critical infrastructure.
- Ability to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
