We're seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a major Federal Government transformation program focused on delivering impactful digital solutions and improving end-to-end services for users and stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape strategic product direction, influence enterprise-wide initiatives, and work closely with business leaders, delivery teams, and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes in a complex and evolving environment.

As Product Manager, you will act as the critical link between business and delivery, partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities, define strategic priorities, and guide solutions from discovery through implementation. You'll be responsible for maintaining product vision, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring initiatives deliver measurable value. 

Working within a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you'll lead product discovery, prioritisation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning while supporting teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic planning and contribute to initiatives with organisation-wide impact
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise opportunities for improvement across processes, people, information, and technology
  • Define and communicate product vision, priorities, roadmaps, and success measures
  • Lead discovery activities and refine product opportunities through evidence-based analysis and user-centred approaches
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritise initiatives based on business value, user outcomes, and strategic objectives
  • Build strong relationships across business, delivery, architecture, and leadership teams
  • Support and empower Product Owners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies while keeping stakeholders informed of progress
Key SKills and Expereinece Required:
  • Significant experience in Product Management within complex digital, transformational, or government environments
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate organisational priorities and user needs into clear product direction
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate priorities and build alignment across diverse groups
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong product planning, roadmap development, and prioritisation capabilities
  • User-centred discovery experience, including problem definition, research, analysis, and solution identification
  • Evidence-based decision-making skills with the ability to balance desirability, viability, and feasibility
  • Technical literacy and confidence engaging with architects, technical teams, and system stakeholders
  • AGSVA security clearance (Baseline or higher)
