About the role
Product Managers work closely with User Researchers and the rest of the delivery team to create and improve a product or service, ensuring it meets user needs. They are responsible for prioritising product component delivery, according to greatest user needs.
The Product Manager is accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex to very complex product management work within an integrated workforce. They will require an in-depth knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks and government decision-making. A Product Manager will exercise a considerable degree of independence. They will exercise sound decision making and judgement to provide expert policy advice. They will have in-depth knowledge of the Product Management function and are responsible for the development, implementation, compliance and review of policies and procedures relevant to their work within that function.
Duties
- Drive product and business planning processes across cross functional teams.
- Analyse customer needs, current market trends and partnerships from Return on Investment (ROI) and build v buy perspective.
- Assess supplier or industry partner offerings.
- Ensure product requirements are met.
- Maintain product timelines across multiple divisions, and
Skills & experience
- Experience managing products from discovery to launch.
- Knowledge, experience of, and relationships with the technology industry.
- Delivery of technology to support regulatory decision-making processes.
- Experience delivering to the Australian Government/Industry.
