Our Federal Government client is seeking Procurement Specialist at the EL 1 level who will be responsible for delivering complex, high-value procurements for the departments strategically significant cyber initiatives. The role manages end-to-end procurement across various funding sources, providing strategic procurement advice, financial alignment, risk management and probity oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage full procurement lifecycle: market engagement, tender development, contract negotiation, execution, contract management and compliance oversight.
- Oversee financial and contract management processes including SAP purchasing, invoicing, reconciliations, funding allocation, expenditure tracking and maintenance of procurement/financial tracking tools
- Provide strategic procurement advice to senior executives, coordinate with central procurement areas, and ensure transparent, efficient delivery across the cyber and critical technology portfolio
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. The successful person will be required to obtain a Police Check and hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 AGSVA Clearance.
