Our client is seeking to engage a Pharmacy Assistant with prior experience working as a Dispensary Technician within a community or hospital pharmacy environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Australian Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced setting, following established procedures to progress work accurately and efficiently.
Key requirements:
- Experience in 24/7 contact centre operations
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Duties And Responsibilities
- Effectively operate in a high volume and high paced 24/7, 365 days a year call centre environment answering queries and providing relevant approvals received through the RPBS Authority Line.
- Provide high quality and timely advice for pharmaceutical issues.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to respond to enquiries from the veteran community and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders on our client's pharmaceutical program matters.
- Participate in relevant training including mandatory e-learning modules, team meetings and ad-hoc workshops.
- Be involved and contribute towards workplace innovation including ongoing streamlining of existing processes, to ensure continued high quality client service delivery and an environment of continuous development.
- Use established policy and procedures to work with healthcare professionals and clients on unique healthcare matters; and
- Complete administrative tasks including filing, data entry tasks and other administrative support.
- Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent
