An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced .NET Developer to join a major federal government transformation initiative.

Working within a collaborative development team, you will play a key role in enhancing critical business applications, modernising document generation capabilities, and delivering system improvements that support a large-scale operational environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes in a fast-paced change environment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET-based applications and supporting systems
  • Redevelop and maintain Microsoft Word templates, including macro and non-macro solutions
  • Design, build, and support web-based applications and reporting solutions
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify requirements and design effective solutions
  • Contribute to planning, testing, deployment, and documentation activities for application enhancements and updates
  • Collaborate within Agile delivery teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas to solve complex business and technical challenges
Skills & Experience Needed:
  • C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core development
  • Microsoft Visual Studio
  • RESTful APIs and Microsoft Web API architecture
  • CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated testing
  • SQL Server development and database support 
  • Microsoft Word templates, mail merge, VBA, and document automation
  • Agile delivery tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience delivering technology solutions within Government or customer-focused service delivery
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks
  • Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently while remaining accountable for outcomes
  • AGSVA Baseline Clearance (or higher)
  • Agile, DevOps, or other relevant technology certifications
