for one of our Federal clients.
Data Centre Operations - Domain Specialist
Join the Operations Team to provide reliable support and management of critical data centre services. This role has a higher level of certainty and routine compared to engineering roles, but requires availability for after-hours changes (e.g., Saturday deployments).
Key Duties
- Maintain operational stability across data centre environments
- Perform incident response, patching, and maintenance
- Support major change implementations outside of business hours
- Ensure compliance with security and operational procedures
- Hands-on DC operations/engineering experience
- Proficiency with:
- VMWare VCF, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, Tanzu
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Microsoft Server
- SCCM / MECM
- NetApp storage solutions
- Backup/archive technologies
- Load balancing tools
Data Centre Engineering - Domain Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Engineering Domain Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on lab work and requires the ability to operate effectively in a secure environment.
Key Duties
- Deliver domain-level engineering support across data centre environments
- Conduct testing, validation, and lab work for infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant, and stable delivery
- Support problem management, change management, and continuous improvement activities
- Strong background in data centre operations and engineering
- Experience with:
- VMWare VCF, vCenter, NSX, vSAN
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Microsoft Server administration
- SCCM / MECM
- Data centre storage, backup, and archive solutions
- Load balancing technologies
This position supports simpler, task-based engineering activities across the data centre environment. It is ideal for candidates looking to deepen their technical expertise in a hands-on, hybrid role.
Key Duties
- Assist in the delivery of day-to-day DC engineering tasks
- Perform system monitoring, patching, and operational support
- Work closely with senior engineers to resolve incidents and implement changes
- Contribute to documentation and process improvement
- General data centre operations experience
- Familiarity with:
- VMWare VCF, vCenter, NSX, vSAN
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
- RedHat Enterprise Linux
- Microsoft Server
- SCCM / MECM
- Data centre storage/backup solutions
- Load balancing
