This position plays a pivotal role in leading complex investigations, supporting secure ICT architecture, and driving uplift across enterprise‑level cyber environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform highly complex, forensically sound security investigations across a diverse range of assets and systems.
- Provide authoritative analysis and recommendations to maintain integrity and resilience of ICT infrastructure.
- Assess and articulate complex threat profiles for electronic devices and environments.
- Oversee analytical processes and mentor other assessors in best‑practice security methodologies.
- Contribute to the evaluation and application of security controls, reviewing systems for actual and potential vulnerabilities.
- Apply and guide others in system design methodologies across predictive (plan‑driven) and adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Review and advise on systems design, technology selection, resource efficiency, and architecture integration.
- Design, code, test, and document complex scripts or programs as required.
- Proven experience delivering complex threat intelligence, modelling tasks, or threat assessments.
- Demonstrated capability performing penetration testing and providing insights on vulnerabilities and defensive effectiveness.
- Experience conducting impact analysis on systems design, including software evaluation.
- Experience producing executive‑level or business reporting on threat assessment or mitigation strategies.
- AGSVA NV2 clearance required (or higher)
- 12 month contract + 2x 12-month extension options
- Work on a high‑priority federal program within a secure national agency
- Onsite only in Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane
