A large Commonwealth Government department responsible for social policy, community services and delivering support to Australians in need. The department is undergoing significant digital transformation, with major investment in ERP modernisation to support long-term service delivery.
About the role
Our Federal Government client seeks a Lead Design specialist to drive their ERP funding approach to Government and integrate the ERP Modernisation Program into the FY27 Digital Investment Plan. Get in at the ground floor of a high-profile, multi-year transformation - working with the CIO, program leads and finance to shape investment before delivery begins.
Duties
- Shape ERP scope, delivery phases and investment options
- Build business cases, cost estimates and benefits evidence
- Align ERP program with the FY27 Digital Investment Plan
- Brief executives and key stakeholders on design outcomes
- Coordinate across ICT, finance and delivery partners
- Experience in large-scale ERP or ICT program design
- Fed Gov funding submissions and business case experience
- Strong delivery planning: costs, risks and dependencies
- Comfortable in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Excellent written comms; executive briefs and papers
- Influence ERP direction at the design stage — before delivery
- Senior exposure at CIO and executive level
- Strong extension potential as program moves into delivery
- Hybrid working
