Our client is a highly regarded Federal Government department responsible for shaping the nation's health, disability and aged care systems. It is also involved in preventative health promotion and public health education initiatives. The department manages schemes such as Medicare and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS), and statutory agencies such as the Therapeutic Goods Administration and National Blood Authority.
Role
As the data analyst you will be part of a team to support the project in strengthening the program. The project team will consider the scope options and capability to action compliance interventions associated with inappropriate practice. This work will enable identification of the most effective and efficient option for reviewing compliance concerns regarding inappropriate practices. You require to have an understanding of compliance processes and procedures, the ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential matters with diplomacy and discretion.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and support on incorporation of data into existing data tools and percentile information used to undertake reviews under Practitioner Review Program (PRP).
- Provide support, expert knowledge and technical input into other data tools and systems, including compliance risk identification tools.
