About the role
The Business Analyst will support HR Transformation initiatives by analysing business processes, documenting requirements, assessing impacts, supporting solution design and facilitating stakeholder engagement across multiple transformation projects.

Duties
  • Gather and document business, functional and legislative requirements for the Agencies HR Transformation projects
  • Develop business process models, future-state operating models and supporting business analysis artefacts
  • Perform functional analysis, fit-gap assessments and impact assessments to support HR system transformation initiatives
  • Build productive stakeholder relationships and facilitated workshops, consultations and governance activities across Agency business areas
  • Deliver analytical reporting, data quality assessments, dashboards and executive briefing materials to support project outcomes and implementation activities

Skills & experience
  • 5+ years' experience working in a similar role 
  • Business requirements elicitation, decomposition, traceability and validation across HR transformation and organisational reform programs
  • Current-state and future-state business process modelling, operating model design and business architecture analysis
  • Functional analysis, fit-gap assessment, solution evaluation and business impact assessment for enterprise workforce management systems
  • Legislative, policy and business rule analysis to ensure solution alignment with Agency operational and strategic objectives
  • Data quality analysis, governance reporting, dashboard development and analytical support for transformation delivery, business readiness and implementation activities
