Overview
We are looking for experienced finance professionals to support a complex public‑sector finance environment. This role involves delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting end‑of‑month and year‑end processes, and providing clear financial advice to senior stakeholders. You will contribute to high‑quality management reporting, ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements, and help business areas manage budgets effectively
Duties
- Perform EOM and year‑end processes including accrual review, BAS, general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare work papers and support audited financial statements
- Produce clear, timely management and performance reports
- Analyse variances, resolve discrepancies, provide financial insights
- Support budget processes and respond to finance queries
Skills & Experience
- CPA or CA qualified (or near completion)
- Minimum five years’ experience in a complex public‑sector financial environment
- Strong financial accounting capability in complex environments
- Expertise in EOM, year‑end, GL, budgeting, AP/AR, assets
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
