We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide technology strategy within a major government transformation program.

This is a senior role focused on aligning business and technology, driving architectural governance, and enabling scalable, future-ready digital capabilities across a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute enterprise architecture strategy aligned with long-term business objectives
  • Define and maintain architecture frameworks, standards, and roadmaps 
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into technology initiatives
  • Ensure effective integration of business processes and ICT systems 
  • Provide architectural guidance on procurement, platforms, and technology selection 
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies 
  • Establish and maintain architecture governance and compliance frameworks 
  • Engage broadly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in
  • Define and track technology performance metrics and outcomes
  • Lead change initiatives to support adoption of new technologies and capabilities
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience operating at enterprise architect level
  • Strong capability in enterprise architecture frameworks and strategic planning
  • Experience aligning business strategy with ICT architecture and roadmaps
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including working with senior executives and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale transformation or complex environments
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance in technology delivery
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership capability with experience influencing strategic decision-making
  • Ability to deliver outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Must have an AGSVA NV1 security clearance
