This role is ideal for a hands‑on developer who enjoys maintaining and modernising legacy platforms while working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain HCL Domino / Lotus Notes applications in line with business requirements and architectural standards
- Design and build Domino application components including databases, forms, views, folders, agents, workflows, roles, and access controls using Domino Designer
- Implement and maintain business logic using LotusScript, @Formula language, and Domino agents
- Integrate Domino applications with other enterprise systems and services as required
- Optimise application performance, security, availability, and scalability
- Create and execute unit tests, conduct peer reviews, and troubleshoot defects
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, including root cause analysis
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams across the SDLC
- Participate in agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning, showcases, and retrospectives
- Provide technical advice and solution guidance to stakeholders
- Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation
- Follow established change control and release management processes
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, upskilling, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience developing, enhancing, and supporting Lotus Notes / Domino applications
- Strong proficiency with Domino Designer, LotusScript, @Formula language, and Domino application architecture
- Experience working in governance‑driven, enterprise ICT environments
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Certifications in HCL Domino / Lotus Notes or related technologies
- Experience with Domino platform upgrades or application modernisation
- Integration with REST services, web technologies, or Microsoft platforms
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tooling
- Integration with relational databases such as SQL Server
- 12 month contract + 2x 12month extension options
- Hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week in the office
- Can be based in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane

- Opportunity to obtain an AGSVA Baseline clearance
