- Data Modelling Activities. This includes Conceptual, Logical, as well as Physical Data Models for EDW Core and Access Layers
- Own the technical implementation of new data from analysis to data modelling (designing and delivering data dictionary, defining best practices of data modelling and review steps).
- Conduct performance tuning and optimisation activities to improve the overall performance of existing solutions.
- Architect and model data to support DAPS and Aged Care projects/programs using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices and processes maximising the EDW environment and associated technologies (such as Teradata, Informatica, Cloudera, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, Oracle, PowerBi etc.).
- Ensure technical standards, performance SLAs, and data quality frameworks are maintained.
- Collaborate with the delivery teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver business solutions through the System Development Life Cycle & Agile development practices and processes.
- Experience and knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and associated technologies (such as Teradata, Informatica, GCP, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, Oracle etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to query and interpret data using efficient and effective SQL and provide sound advice on complex data/information-related matters to deliver quality solutions.
- Ability to discuss technical issues/solutions with both technical and non-technical staff.
