Data Entry Officer – APS3
 
  • 12 month Labour hire contract with scope for a further 12 month extension
  • $48.60 per hour plus superannuation
  • Baseline Security Clearance required
 
Overview
Our Federal Government client is seeking an experience Data Entry Officer to contribute to a project by ensuring historical information is transferred accurately and consistently.  You will use photographs and approved source material as the source of truth to enter, check and verify historical data in agreed formats and systems.
 
The role requires attention to detail, sound organisational skills and the ability to follow established procedures while meeting project timeframes.
 
Skills and Experience
  • Deliver routine, high‑volume data entry and records management tasks with strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Verify and validate information to ensure complete, consistent and reliable records that support quality assurance activities
  • Plan and manage workload to meet agreed priorities, deadlines and project requirements
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of work completed and provide timely updates on progress, issues and emerging risks
  • Identify errors, inconsistencies and process issues and escalate appropriately to support continuous improvement and quality outcomes
 
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in data entry, records management, administration or other process‑driven work
  • A careful, methodical approach to handling historical or sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain accuracy while working at pace and adapt to new systems, processes and project requirements
  • Strong attention to detail with the capability to complete routine, high‑volume tasks accurately and consistently
  • Confident using spreadsheets, digital systems and administrative tools to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to follow established procedures, exercise sound judgement within defined parameters and seek guidance when required
  • Strong organisational skills, including managing competing priorities and meeting agreed timeframes
