Large, globally engaged Australian Government organisation shaping international security outcomes. The teams specialise in cyber affairs, critical technology and strategic capability uplift, partnering with governments, industry and regional institutions.
 
About the role
Support the delivery of cyber cooperation and capacity uplift projects overseas. The role works within a dynamic branch supporting Australia’s Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology, engaging closely with government agencies, industry partners and regional stakeholders.
 
Duties
  • Support cyber capacity projects across the Indo‑Pacific
  • Build ties with delivery partners and regional counterparts
  • Draft project docs, grants, contracts and approvals
  • Manage contracts, track deliverables and assess progress
  • Support briefs, diplomacy tasks and official delegations
 
Skills & experience
  • Strong project management across ODA and non‑ODA programs
  • Knowledge of cyber or critical tech issues
  • Ability to design capability uplift initiatives
  • Skilled in managing risk in fast‑paced settings
  • Confident stakeholder engagement across government and partners
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
