  • Role is located in Jervis Bay NSW 
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for a Commonwealth Agency located in Jervis Bay responsible for overseeing community land, cultural heritage and local services in Jervis Bay NSW. 

The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between the major building contractor and the client, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and smooth management of expectations for the housing construction projects in Wreck Bay.

Ideally, candidates will identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or have demonstrated experience working within a culturally grounded agency environment.

Role

The role ensures the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

You’ll lead the company’s involvement across planning, community engagement, procurement, contracting, superintendency, and stakeholder management.

You’ll also handle key contract processes—such as progress claims, variations, and time extensions—manage funding requirements, and provide regular updates to the CEO on risks, budgets, and project progress.

You’ll keep strong communication flowing between the company, the client, and other stakeholders, prepare clear reports and presentations, and maintain accurate records that meet audit and organisational standards.

The role also involves identifying and managing project risks, keeping records up to date in company systems, and completing other tasks as directed by the CEO.


Skills & experience

Candidates must have proven exerience in a similar role and have the ability to be on site in Jervis Bay to carry out duties of the position.
