This roles requires a seasoned professional with the capability to operate in a complex, high‑security environment, providing strategic guidance, crafting evidence‑based communication plans, and engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders to support organisational objectives.
Based in Melbourne or Brisbane, this position will offer the opportunity to contribute to nationally significant work while shaping communication approaches that drive awareness, adoption and meaningful organisational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop evidence‑based communication strategies that raise awareness and support organisational objectives.
- Provide specialist advice on communication planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
- Create compelling content across multiple channels, including social media, EDMs, web content and publications.
- Prepare reports, briefings and communication products for senior executives.
- Conduct research and analyse data to inform communication activities and measure effectiveness.
- Manage competing priorities, deliver work to deadlines, and contribute expertise to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience planning, managing and evaluating internal and external communication initiatives.
- Experience writing and implementing communication strategies.
- Proven ability to develop communication products for a range of channels and formats.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building capability.
- Ability to design, track and update communication activities, including monitoring and evaluation.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to resolve issues as they arise.
- Australian citizenship is mandatory.
- Candidates must hold an NV2 security clearance or higher.
- Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
- 12 month contract + 24 month extension
- $1000 - $1200 per day inlc. Super (flexible)
- Onsite 5 days per week (hybrid working may be negotaited)
