About the role
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 10+ years working in the banking or finance industry to lead comprehensive, end‑to‑end business analysis for lending initiatives, encompassing the elicitation, validation, and prioritisation of business requirements, detailed process mapping, gap and impact analysis, and the translation of business needs into actionable solution designs.
 
Duties
  • Provide end‑to‑end lending expertise—covering origination, credit assessment/underwriting, servicing, arrears/collections, and discharge—to ensure system functionality and workflows align with best practice and organisational policy
  • Interpret and embed regulatory, legislative, and compliance obligations into system configurations, business rules, and process designs, ensuring mandatory controls, risk mitigation, and adherence to prudential and consumer protection frameworks.
  • Produce clear, high‑quality analytical and technical documentation—including BRDs, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria—to support communication and traceability across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Partner with technology, architecture, and delivery teams to design, validate, and implement scalable, robust enhancements to core banking and lending platforms, while supporting testing through scenario design, requirement validation, UAT coordination, and defect resolution.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to elicit insights, resolve ambiguities, and align business, technical, and customer experience needs, while identifying and recommending data‑driven improvements to lending workflows, operational processes, and system capabilities.
 
Skills & experience
  • 10+ years of business analysis experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
  • Ability to work across business and technical teams with clarity and influence.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering change in financial services environments.
  • Experience in core banking products such as Finacle, Temenos.
