About the role
The Agency is seeking a Benefits Officer with experience in benefits management, evaluation, analysis and reporting. The role supports the Senior Benefits Officer (Analysis) in delivering benefits management, benefits realisation and evaluation activities across Agency programs, projects and digital health initiatives.

The Benefits Officer contributes to the identification, measurement, analysis and reporting of benefits associated with digital health investments. The role supports the development and maintenance of benefits frameworks, methodologies and reporting products, assists with economic and qualitative evaluation activities, and provides evidence-based insights to support decision-making and demonstrate the value and impact of digital health initiatives.


Duties
  • Supporting benefits management and benefits realisation activities across Agency programs projects and digital health initiatives.
  • Assisting with economic evaluation activities, including cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, return-on-investment analysis and other assessment approaches.
  • Preparing reports, briefing materials, dashboards and other products that communicate benefits outcomes to a range of audiences.
  • Contributing to benefits assurance activities through the review and validation of benefits assumptions, evidence and reporting.
  • Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders to support consistent identification, measurement and reporting of benefits and disbenefits.
  • Supporting the development of an evidence base that demonstrates the impact and value of digital health investments.

Skills & experience
  • Experience supporting benefits management, program evaluation, performance measurement or related analytical activities, including the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources.
  • Ability to contribute to evaluation and economic analysis activities, including cost-benefit analysis, performance measurement or related approaches.
  • Experience in digital health, health economics, program evaluation, public policy, health services research or a related field.
  • Qualifications in economics, statistics, public health, evaluation, data analytics or a related discipline.
