About the role
This role supports the development and maturity of WHS across an integrated workforce, working with broad autonomy to interpret legislation, develop policy, and provide detailed WHS advice. It requires strong knowledge of WHS frameworks, sound judgement, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders on complex WHS matters.
 
Duties
  • Identify and analyse WHS risks.
  • Develop and deliver WHS programs.
  • Advise on WHS legislation and procedures.
  • Support and improve WHS management systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders on WHS compliance.
  • Monitor and report on WHS performance.
 
Skills & experience
  • Strong research and analytical capability to identify and address WHS risks.
  • Experience designing, developing and implementing WHS programs.
  • In‑depth understanding of WHS legislation, policies and procedural requirements.
  • Ability to support, maintain and continuously improve WHS management systems.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and collaboration on WHS compliance and issue resolution.
  • Experience evaluating WHS activities and delivering clear performance reporting.
  
To be considered for this role, you must hold an NV1 clearance and be willing to undertake, progress through and successfully complete the required suitability assessment process.
