About the role

Provide mental health support to clients through assessment, counselling and case management. Work within a multidisciplinary team and report to a senior leader while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties

• Deliver evidence-based counselling and risk assessment
• Develop care plans and maintain client records
• Review progress and adjust treatment plans
• Liaise with families and external providers
• Attend case reviews and clinical supervision

Qualifications
  • Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Occupational Therapist / Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR
  • Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) on commencement, OR
  • A Masters-level counselling qualification and registration with PACFA as a Registered Clinical Counsellor or with ACA at Level 3 or Level 4.
Skills & experience

• AHPRA registration or AASW / PACFA / ACA membership
• Experience in trauma-informed client care
• Strong assessment and risk management capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage complex client needs
