About the Role

Support clients through personalised, recovery‑focused peer work within a multidisciplinary team. Build strong community connections, co‑facilitate group programs and contribute to service delivery outcomes. Reports to the Peer Team Leader.

Duties  
  • Deliver personalised peer support under the Model of Care
  • Build rapport using Lived Experience to guide client recovery 
  • Contribute to team case reviews and group program delivery 
  • Promote services and foster community partnerships 
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold policy standards
Skills & Experience  
  • Lived Experience, including personal lived experience of military service or military family life and of a mental health journey, which may include as a relative/carer of an ex-ADF member who has experienced a mental health journey.
  • Cert IV Mental Health Peer Work (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to support trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused practice
  • High integrity, emotional intelligence and confidentiality

Location  - Multiple locations - QLD (Cranbrook, Upper Mount Gravatt), NT (Winnellie), TAS (Hobart), NSW(Lismore, Newcastle, Surry Hills), VIC (Melbourne CBD), SA (Eastwood, Elizabeth), ACT (Phillip)
Eligibility  - Australian citizens/Baseline clearance desirable
