The Client Service and Administration Officer will be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative coordination and customer service as part of its broader corporate services offering. This role is integral to ensuring efficient operations, responsive client engagement, and the smooth delivery of the Department’s mission.
Duties
- Handle inboxes, calls, and client queries with clear policy advice.
- Process applications and update internal systems accurately.
- Liaise with stakeholders and agencies to progress admin tasks.
- Manage external checks and prepare documentation for approval.
- Support SOPs and assist with policy or operational projects.
- Provide flexible support across the section as required
Skills & experience
- Strong organisation and time management; proven ability to meet deadlines and juggle priorities.
- Sound judgement with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Works effectively under instruction, independently, and as part of a team.
- Skilled at interpreting policy to deliver professional, efficient client service.
- Proactive, with initiative to improve processes and team efficiency
Due to the nature of this role, it is only open to Australian Citizens who currently hold a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
