Strategic ICT Talent Lead
 
Our client is looking to engage Strategic Talent Lead who will be a part of the IT Business Management Capability team. This role is to assist in the strategic recruitment, retention, identification of needs, and performance management of capability within the department.
 
Key position responsibilities 

  • Build relationships with stakeholders and drive the performance management and talent identification strategies. 
  • Identify, prioritise and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures. 
  • Lead the talent management and development plans for the division with a focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers. 
  • Diagnose gaps between current and desired organisation performance and look to resolve gaps, including organisation redesign, process change, coaching and training.
  • Analyse workforce trends to model and forecast future labour requirements to support senior leaders in workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Assist business leaders and stakeholders to create development programs for ICT and digital roles such as Product Owner, and Senior Responsible Owner.
  • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Align performance management and reward strategies to reinforce an environment of dedication and innovation with and across business units.
  • Coach senior leaders to improve leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals and interpersonal communications, as well as deliver effective performance feedback.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience 
  • Experience with and understanding of the policies and guidelines relating to talent management and recruitment;
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management;
  • Knowledge and experience in successfully managing risk, including the development of labour hire appropriate risk assessments;
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering positive results with time restraints and competing priorities;
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and navigate complex stakeholder relationships; and
  • Demonstrated personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and budget parameters.
Desirable
  • Relevant qualifications and / or industry certification. For example, Diploma of Government and/or Certificate IV in Government (Talent Management, Recruitment, etc) or equivalent.
