We are currently seeking expressions of interest from candidates wanting to commence their careers in IT. The Service Desk and Administrative Traineeship positions are available within various Federal Government Agencies in Melbourne/Naarm Country.
These traineeships are an incredible opportunity to gain workforce experience while structured to support your ongoing learning. In addition to your work, the learning time will contribute towards gaining a Certificate III in IT through the Integrity Business College. Learning will be five hours a week, delivered remotely, providing great flexibility. Outside of learning, trainees will be well supported to gain hands-on experience across different teams and skills and will also be provided non-academic mentors.
Here's a little about what you will on your day to day
- Troubleshooting & investigating IT-related issues over the phone
- Logging jobs and escalating to cross-functional teams
- Collaborating with other vendors and service providers
- Deliver a high-level of customer service, which is proactive, cooperative and dependable by analysing user needs and developing rapport with clients

- An innate interest in technology and people
- The ability to learn quickly and follow new processes accurately
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sharing lessons learned and process improvements with the rest of the team

Candidates must be willing to undergo a national police check, as well as an Australian Negative Vetting Baseline or 1 Security Clearance.
