Our client is seeking experienced Senior System Analyst to translate business requirements into technical requirements that align with relevant architectures.

This is a 12-month contract with extensions option in ACT location.
 
Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Managing the business requirements, expectations and scope.
  • Assisting with development of User Stories or high and detailed level requirements.
  • Facilitating workshops and group discussion.
  • Participating in Agile team scrums.
  • Performing solution design and problem analysis.
  • Providing/writing solution and functional design documents.
  • Looking for continuous business improvement.
  • Identifying and reporting issues and risks.
  • Mentoring and assist with development of junior Systems Analysts.
  • Ensuring that the system design balances functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Reviewing systems designs and ensuring that appropriate methods, tools and techniques are applied effectively.
 
The successful candidate will possess:
 
  • Must have professional skills and experience working in a systems analyst role (minimum three years).
  • Previous experience working in Agile projects including experience in and/or exposure to JIRA and Kanban.
  • Experience and knowledge of the following tools: JIRA, SQL, Visio, XML, Confuence, BitBucket (or similar).
 
Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
