We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Developer) to design and develop advanced ICT solutions that drive key outcomes for one of our key Federal Government clients. You’ll work across technologies including C#, .NET, REST APIs, Oracle (11g/12c/PL-SQL), JavaScript, and VB6, contributing to solutions that have a national impact.
 
This role is perfect for a technically strong developer who thrives on solving complex problems, mentoring colleagues, and working in a collaborative, agile environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex ICT business issues and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance applications using C#, .NET, REST APIs, Oracle, JavaScript, and VB6.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts.
• Collaborate with testing, release management, and operations teams to implement changes.
• Partner with stakeholders to align objectives and ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced engineers.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Federal Government standards.

• Keep up to date with emerging ICT technologies and industry best practices.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with stakeholders and team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and practices within ICT functions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines in an agile environment.
