Calleo is seeking for a Senior Security Operations Centre Analyst for one of our clients.


Key Responsibilitie
 

  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across DFR’s ICT environment.
  • Analyse security events, logs, and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Escalate and coordinate incident response activities in line with defined processes and SLAs.
  • Support the SOC Manager in building and optimising SOC processes, tooling, and playbooks.
  • Collaborate with Kinetic IT’s infrastructure teams (service desk, desktop, cloud, network) to ensure security best practices are applied.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and outcomes.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities.
 
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about cyber security, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are motivated to be part of a newly established SOC. You’ll bring:
  • Proven experience in cyber security operations, incident response, or monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools, intrusion detection, endpoint protection, and event monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and triage incidents effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 
Desirable Skills
 
  • Experience working in Defence, Government, or highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or Essential Eight.
  • Exposure to SOC build or transformation projects.

Must hold NV1 Clearance
