A highly regarded government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Program Scheduler
to support the delivery of a large-scale, complex program. This role is pivotal in maintaining integrated program schedules, ensuring effective resource utilisation, and supporting project governance across multiple work streams.

Location:
ACT (Hybrid – minimum 2 days/week at Head Office, in Gungahlin)
Contract Duration:
12 months
Clearance:
Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain program and project schedules in collaboration with program and project managers
- Optimise workflow and ensure milestone tracking through advanced scheduling methodologies
- Maintain the master schedule and coordinate inter-project dependencies
- Provide analysis and recommendations around resource allocation and utilisation
- Identify and troubleshoot scheduling risks and present mitigation strategies
- Support compliance with internal project management systems and scheduling governance
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in project or program scheduling in complex, multi-project environments
- High proficiency in scheduling tools and interpreting resource data
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g. PMBOK, Agile, PRINCE2)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in project governance and scheduling compliance
Other requirements:
- Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates who currently hold or able to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances are highly desirable.
