The federal government department requires a Senior Infra-Security Engineer (Identity Access Manager - IDAM). The Senior Infra-Security Engineer securing and protecting Windows-based systems and infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining secure Windows environments, as well as responding to security incidents and threats targeting those systems. They work to harden systems, manage access, and ensure the overall security of the Windows environment within an organisation.
Key Duties
- Assess identity, authentication and access systems for misconfigurations and security issues.
- Provide recommendations for improving cyber security posture across a broad range of systems
- Communicate with a broad range of stakeholders (Technical and non-technical), including conducting workshops to highlight security issues and their associated fixes.
- Collaborate with teams to automate and improve access processes. Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations.
- Experience in administering and securing Microsoft Active Directory and/or other directory services.
- Experience in administering and securing Microsoft Entra and M365
- Experience in deploying and securing Privileged access management (PAM) solutions (CyberArk, Manage Engine, Beyond Trust etc).
- Experience in Cloud based technologies and solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of IAM Principles
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance
- Experience with Active directory or other directory services
- Experience in Cloud based technologies and solutions (eg. AWS, Azure AD)
- Understanding of network security concepts and scripting and automation
