Calleo is looking for a dynamic Data Visualisation Specialist to join one of our delivery partners.
About the role
The role will require work across a range of activities in data preparation work through analytics and visualisation activities. The role also requires strong attention to detail and engage with a wide range of data analysis and data visualisation specialists. This role will assist with the production and delivery of the company’s data visualisation products as well as continuous improvement of data products.
Duties
- Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity, including through data validation activities.
- Implement technical changes to integrate data sources to enhance the utility of the company’s internal and external data products.
- Develop repeatable, maintainable and readable code to enable traceability and oversight of data pipelines for managers and other stakeholders.
- Identify and contribute to improvement in data visualisation capabilities.
- Contribute to designing and building interactive reports and dashboards by aligning business methodologies, processes and modelling outcomes for transparent, data-driven business management.
- Contribute to the development of complex Power BI dashboards and interactive reports to support business partners, senior executive and external stakeholders to inform decision making.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Power BI.
- Data manipulation in SQL, DAX and M Code.
- Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design methodologies.
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of best practice data management, data preparation and analytics techniques.
- Management of Power BI publishing and refresh processes.
