About the role:
Provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of cyber security tools, including SOAR (security orchestration, automation, and response) and SIEM (security information and event management), using their in-depth knowledge of specific ICT platforms. They will be required to work closely with key third party suppliers to ensure the provision of a robust infrastructure capability to the agency and liaise with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of the day-to-day technical operations.
Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
- Responsible for delivery of an optimal strategic system landscape
- Oversee the design, installation and operation of the ICT system instance landscape, client and transport processes.
- Provide broad technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities.
- Oversee all non-functional platform capabilities, including job scheduling, output management, email, archiving, technical security, technical connectivity between software components.
- liaise with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement and deployment of hardware and related assets.
- Oversee the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers, oversee and prepare a range of technical documentation and reports.
- Oversee the operation of backup, high availability and disaster recovery solutions for ICT systems and oversee the administration and operation of the database solution.
- Resolve sensitive and/or escalated customer and stakeholder issues that adversely impact on, and policy, performance and/or customer service, including disaster/emergency situations.
Requirements
- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience of enterprise-scale gateway architecture and implementation as it applies to the design, development and operation of highly available, high volume digital services and integrations
- Strong understanding and experience of intra-data centre networking and the relationship of this to large, complex and enterprise scale systems
- Strong understanding and experience working with Authentication, Identity and Access management standards, protocols and products in larger scale enterprise application environments
- Strong experience with data aggregation and observability platforms in enterprise-scale environments
- Strong experience in micro-services architectures and experience with B2B, C2G and G2G secure integration standards, protocols and products
- Technical Skills: Consultancy CNSL, Database administration DBAD, Database design DBDS - (SFIA 6) Incident management USUP and Methods and tools METL
