Overview
A Federal Government client of ours has a number of projects in the pipeline with the new financial year coming around and are looking for Salesforce Developers who are willing to grow and expand their experience in this area to join some of these teams. Your role will be to write and test code, optimise software for speed and capability, evaluate and test new software, design and maintain software systems under limited supervision.
Due to the Nature of this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to be found suitable. Those with Federal Government clearances are highly regarded.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Salesforce applications in accordance with established standards and best practices.
- Design and implement scaleable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions with a strong focus on user needs.
- Produce high-quality documentation including test plans, user guides, and system documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery responsiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment using Azure DevOps.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) activities.

Candidates with experience in the following areas are ecouraged to apply.
- Experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a related role.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce development tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms; experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and automation scripting (e.g., YAML, Bash).
- Proficiency with Git version control and pull request workflows.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to OmniStudio or CRM Analytics is a plus.
