Our client, an independent statutory agency of the Australian Government is seeking an Program Officer to join a team responsible for implementing and administering legislative amendments to one of the Commonwealth’s schemes. The Program is made up of three branches who work together to uplift regulatory capability by designing and implementing new processes, systems and technology.
About the role
The Program Officer will assist in the operations of the program and will be responsible for:
- Collating data and documents to inform reporting activities and contribute to report drafting
- Conducting research and analysis activities to support Program deliverables
- Supporting logistical and document preparation for events, meetings and audits as required
- Contributing to the development of project plans
- Preparing documents and prepare reports, templates and documentation
- Developing and maintaining key internal and external relationships,
Skills & experience
- Experience in program/project administration
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of Government
- Organisation and time management skills, ensuring deadlines are met whilst delivering high quality results
- Secretariat experience including preparation of documents and committee papers
- High attention to detail
