Finance Specialist
 
Our client is looking to engage a Finance Specialist to prepare detailed costings and financial models and ensure alignment with the department's financial strategy and funding envelopes. The successful candidate will provide expert support in the development, coordination, and quality assurance of three new policy procedures. 
 
Project Management

• Develop and maintain a detailed work plan. 
• Coordinate inputs across internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Track progress and ensure timely delivery of all components. 

• Liaise with Finance teams to validate assumptions and calculations.
• Review and refine documentation to ensure clarity, consistency and compliance.
• Apply best practice standards for government submissions.

• Facilitate workshops and briefings with internal teams.
• Support engagement with central agencies.
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for senior executives.

• Provide regular updates to the project sponsor and executive team.
• Contribute to governance reporting and risk management documentation. 

• Finalise submissions, ready for executive endorsement and central agency lodgement.
• Financial models and costing templates for each proposal.
• External Budget Tracker.
• Quality assurance checklist and review notes.
• Weekly progress reports and stakeholder engagement logs.
