Our client, one of Australia's largest Federal Government Departments, has recently implemented a new SAP S/4 HANA ERP solution and is now looking for a Delivery Lead to guide the team through the next phase of it's transformation journey.
The Delivery Lead will oversee the management and enhancement of finance data within the newly implemented SAP ERP system, ensuring efficient service management and seamless stakeholder engagement.
This role requires experience working in SAP environments, coupled with strong service management capabilities, and experience working within complex environments involving high-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of finance data solutions within the SAP ERP framework.
- Oversee service management, ensuring ongoing support, incident resolution, and enhancements to meet business needs.
- Provide strategic direction for finance data integrity, reporting, and compliance, aligned with business requirements.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and external stakeholders, to align SAP project outcomes.
- Manage and navigate relationships with challenging stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies related to data governance and SAP system utilization.
- Drive continuous improvement, optimizing SAP ERP functionalities and service delivery efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, safeguarding finance data and related systems.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong expertise in SAP ERP systems, particularly in financial data management.
- Extensive service management experience, including establishing work take on processes, support frameworks, escalation processes, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in highly complex environments with demanding stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in managing data integrity and system challenges.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Certification in SAP ERP, ITIL, or related service management frameworks.
- Prior experience in government environments would be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance in complex organizations.
- Active AGSVA clearance (ideally NV1 or higher)
This would be an initial 12 month contract position, based in Melbourne. The organisation works on a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days WFH.
