CCTV & Enforcement (Procedures, Governance and Standards) Officer
 
Our client is looking for an officer to join the team to support their ability to govern, support and guide the delivery of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) & Enforcement Communications. The position provides executive reports, briefings and discussion papers. The information conveyed in the reports are used by the Department for decision making on future investment, performance, maintenance and funding.
 
You will be responsible for interpreting, drafting and reviewing policy and procedural instructions within CCTV&EC in accordance with the Departmental Policy and Procedural Framework, and ensuring compliance with the appropriate legislative, financial and administrative frameworks and Departmental directives and standards.
 
The position will report to the Assistant Director Procurement, Contracts and Governance and will assist in providing critical support to the Section, ensuring business practices and processes are conducted lawfully, ethically and efficiently. The position will also ensure processes are in place to ensure accountability, transparency and responsiveness.
 
Under the guidance of the Assistant Director, the Procedures, Governance and Standards Officer will be responsible for: 

  • Interpreting, drafting and reviewing policy and procedural instructions within a specialist area in accordance with Departmental Policy and Procedural Framework.
  • Coordinate and/or undertake quality assurance activities for the Section.
  • Provide secretariat functions to support the CCTV&EC Working Group and Steering Committee meetings.
  • Coordinate and review the Section weekly report.
  • Coordinate and contribute to Section and Branch Business plans, Annual reports, Business Continuity plans and Training registers.
  • Prepare/coordinating reports, briefings, correspondence and discussion papers for review by the Executive as required; and
  • Work collaboratively with a range of subject matter experts and external stakeholders.
