Business and Change Analyst
 
Working with the Project Management Office (PMO) and alongside Project Managers, business owners, technical teams, and service users, the Buisness and Change Analyst will ensures solutions align with strategic priorities, improve business readiness, and drive stakeholder engagement.The Business and Change Analyst supports the delivery and adoption of projects for the Department by analysing business needs, defining requirements, and enabling effective change.

Key Responsibilities
 
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Conduct business analysis to identify problems, opportunities, and requirements that support project goals.
  • Develop business process models, gap analyses, and future-state assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of change activities that enable project delivery and adoption.
  • Work with stakeholders assess change impacts, develop communications, and support training and engagement.
  • Assist with business case and project documentation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through workshops and consultations to gather input and build consensus.
  • Monitor and report on change effectiveness, recommending improvements where required.
  • Maintain strong cross-business relationships and contribute to the continuous improvement of CDPP business analysis and change capability.

  • Identifies long-term impacts of changes and ensures alignment with organisational objectives.

  • Works collaboratively and contributes to team success, while also influencing stakeholders to adopt change.
  • Demonstrates initiative and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • Communicates complex information clearly and effectively across various audiences.
  • Facilitates discussions and consultations to gain input and build stakeholder understanding and support.
Desired qualifications and experience include: 
  • Proven experience in business analysis and/or change management within project environments.
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement and change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Agile, Lean).
  • Experience working within a PMO or project delivery environment in the public sector.
  • Relevant qualifications in business analysis, change management, or related fields.
