About the role
The team are responsible for multiple functions including accounts payable and receivable, credit card management and travel. This role is critical to the effective delivery of financial operations and supports the broader objectives of the Corporate Division.
Duties
- Handle financial processing functions.
- Liaise with stakeholders.
- Assist with credit card management.
- Support data collection for reporting, audits, and requests like Senate Estimates.
- Manage passport stocktakes, mail outs, and general financial admin tasks.
- Contribute to Financial Operations and Finance projects.
Skills & experience
- Experience or aptitude in applying government policies in public sector financial operations.
- Ability to comprehend relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and representation skills.
- Experience using Excel
- Skill in fostering productive working relationships.
